wiper sensor problem

I have 407 vehicles. and the wiper sensor is worn out. For example, when I take the window to wipe and it does not rain, it wipes on its own. Is the wiper sensor broken or is it a chronic error in these pejos? it's not a problem when it is raining, it is silent, but sometimes it works very quickly where I stop. Is there anyone who has witnessed that a similar malfunction?

i own 407.car 2006 but so far i have not had such a problem. thank god i'm probably guessing the sensor is faulty.
