why not the cruise control?

I have a 2004 model 307 auto. I wanted to have a cruise control installed on my vehicle. the cruise control lever came and sat down. We came to the introduction section from the computer, there were 5 different options in the menu.

type A / type B / type 2 with cruise control without speed limiter / with speed limiter / without cruise control

We tried the above in order :( but it did not. It is only in type 2 speed stabilization with no speed limiter option, Cc --- writings are displayed in the upper line OFF in the top line but it is not active. I have tried all the options many times.

We tried the 2003 model with a 307 manual gear. however, there are two choices in his mesure that there is only speed stabilization. I chose var and tried. no text appears on the information screen, but the arm is working and used as a hand gas.

my main question is, isn't the arm we already have suitable for my vehicle? I looked at peugeot's site, there is a third option of the arm on off button, which actively describes the cc post: limit.
