Why does the car overheat?

Failure of the fan that causes the engine to cool down, failure of the fan as a result of malfunction, failure of the circulation pump that causes the circulation of the water in the engine to deteriorate and leakage of water, loss of water as a result of the puncture of the radiator hoses, the radiator cover deterioration, the alternator belt breaking or loose causes the car to overheat.

What to do when overheating?
If you do not notice that your car's engine temperature has risen abnormally, steam will begin to rise from the engine after a while. The water vapor that comes out is an indication that your car is overheating.

The first thing to do when you encounter such a situation is to stop your car in a suitable place.

Stop the car and wait for the engine to cool. (It is wrong to open the cover of the radiator with the help of a cloth, which is very common in humans. The water inside the radiator creates pressure because it is at high temperature, and water may spray and burn your face.)

After the engine has cooled, you can open the radiator cap and check the water level.

Your car's engine may have lost water due to a malfunction in the cooling system, which may have caused heat.

If the engine has overheated due to the lack of water in the radiator, it is possible to complete the missing water and solve the problem in the short term.

If the cause of the heat is not caused by the loss of water in the radiator, it means that you cannot solve this problem in a short time. All you need to do is to seek help from an authorized service.

If your location is not too far from the service or a mechanic, after cooling the engine thoroughly, you can reach the mechanic by checking the engine temperature from the temperature indicator, stopping every kilometer and cooling the engine.

What happens if you continue to start the engine when your car overheats?
When your car overheats, if you keep running, it will do more damage to the engine every time it runs. Since the rings of the engine are made of metal, they expand due to high temperature and deform as a result of sudden cooling. The cylinder head gasket will light up. Meanwhile, since the balance between the cylinder and the piston is disturbed, the aluminum alloy on the piston sticks to the cylinder and the engine is locked. In such cases, the engine must be taken to intensive care. This costs you a lot.

If your vehicle is overheating, it means there is something wrong with the cooling system. As a user, you can understand that a vehicle is overheating only by looking at the temperature indicator. It is useful to know the following information about the movement indicator, "The temperature indicator shows you the temperature of the coolant, not the engine temperature." In fact, the temperature that appears on the gauge is 80 and the engine temperature is higher. In addition, 50% water and 50% antifreeze in a healthy cooling system. Why your car may overheat 1.) The cooling fan may not have opened 2.) The thermostat may not have opened 3.) The water or anti-freeze may be left in the vehicle 4.) The cylinder head gasket may be burned5.) One of the coolant hoses may have been pierced6. 7.) Fan sensor may have failed 8.) There may be an electronic malfunction9.) Water pump “circulation” may have malfunction Which Parts of the Vehicles are Checked in Winter Maintenance? Unfortunately, it is not possible for you as a user to detect these faults. But of course, there are some precautions you can take when your vehicle overheats. What to do when your car overheats? 1. Pull the car to a shadow and calm place. Not by using it, put it in gear and stop by pressing the brake as if you were taking off4.) Open the bonnet and visually check the radiator or the reserve water tank5.) If there is intense water vapor, never “open the cover of the radiator or water tank”. 6) 15 - 20 minutes or wait 30 - 45 minutes depending on the situation 7.) Protect your hand with a large cloth and slowly open the cooling tank cover 8.) Add water again after opening the cover 9.) Restart the vehicle and wait for the fan to open 10.) If the fan does not open and is still hot. If the fan does not turn on after these operations, one of the technical parts I mentioned at first Either few of them may have malfunctioned. How to Maintain Diesel Vehicles? If you insist on continuing with the overheated vehicle, the next stage can go up to cylinder head gasket burning or serious malfunctions in the cylinder head, or even a complete engine. While you can get rid of this process with very small costs, it may cause you to charge thousands of lira. Be you, do not force the car that has overheated more and use it in traffic. https://arabanakit.com/arabalar-neden-hararet-yapar-cozumu-nedir/ serdarsolarr2019-02-19 21:35:14

Hello. I have 206 Fever. 2006 Model Automatic 110.000 Km. also.

While driving on the road in my vehicle, the temperature gauge suddenly jumps from 90 to the end of the needle. warning signal is on. After 1 minute, it quickly drops back to 90. It was scary at first, but now I'm used to it. But I couldn't find anyone doing this indicator issue. Do you have a master you would recommend?

The problem is not the indicator. It's because of the fan relays. It oxidizes by position and the fan does not turn on. The temperature is coming to the red line. In this case, the ecu disables the relay and runs the fan at the last stage. The temperature drops with the operation of the fan.
This cycle continues in this way.

There is a closed area like a box on the back of the peugeot badge in the front. There are two green fan relays inside.
