Hello friends...

I bought a new 307 1.4 HDI XR. I have a question for you.

I changed all the filters and oil as I bought the car. I put 5W-40 Castrol Edge oil.

But the sound of the engine sounds too loud to me. I was using Clio 1.5 DCI before. Even more than that, the engine sounds into the vehicle.

What is the situation in your vehicle?

Diesel 307s sounds a little too many models by the way? tar-tar-tar-tar sometimes I can say that it is 307 coming from the street without seeing the car.

First of all, thanks for the answer.

My car 2005 model is at 135,000 km. Until this time, their maintenance has been done regularly in the service.

I do not hear the sound of the 307 1.4 hdi engine in my car. I think it has a very quiet engine. There is a problem in your car.

As I said, good luck, as I said, I see the sound problem, I find it normal for a 10-year-old vehicle, I think there is no problem, yet 307 owner can help more experienced friends.

I know that the mileage of the vehicle is original. The oil has also just changed. Any blowing in the engine, etc. there is no. Why would he be so loud?

then the sound is not good sound insulation of the vehicle. There are isolation felts on the back of the engine and on the hood that prevent the sound from entering. Check them out.

As the km of the vehicle increases, the sound changes. The higher the km, the higher the sound increases. The diesel engine is able to set up. Over time, the solution is turbocharged or changed.

If I have the felts I said, make your car get a carbon clean and the sound will decrease at least 10 percent

I will look at the felts first thing in the morning. I heard about Carbon Clean, but I'll investigate the details.

my car is now at 152000 km, 1.6 hdi engine sound is zero or even I do not exaggerate, I know that after starting the car, I forgot and started again, I witnessed a couple of friends in the forum, probably there is a problem in your car, I think

Yes, the front hood felt has been removed. They want 250 TL for the original. I will ask the publishers. Do you think the sound will be cut off largely when you wear it?

In my 307 2005 model 1.4 hdi diesel sometimes I go down from the car and look at it, sometimes I start cranking while the car is so quiet.

No need to get off the vehicle. Just take a look at the tachometer. :)
