Hello friends, I have a 2012 Peugeot 1.6 vti gasoline vehicle with 100,000 km. My car blows white smoke when I accelerate at idle, on hills, and during stop-and-go traffic. It doesn't blow any smoke when driving at 100 mph on a flat road. I took it to 3 mechanics and they charged me 40-60 thousand. Some say it's burning oil. Some say it's due to the valves, I'm really confused. Yesterday, after I had a device connected to the car and erased the error records from the ECU, it stopped blowing smoke. The technician said it might smoke again. If it does, bring it back. Is it burning oil, the valves? Is it the injectors? Everyone says something. Doesn't it blow blue smoke when it burns oil? Also, if it's a technical problem, how can the smoke stop after erasing the damage records from the ECU? I'm very confused. Thanks in advance for your help.
