With the 2004 Model 1.4HDI 307 im, it is now visible on the back as a result of a little load on the gas, especially in the evening, the smell of white smoke (not cotton white) and the burning diesel smell comes to me ... This situation started to bother me .. EGR and catalyst cancellation reason Is that it? Could there be a problem with the turbo? Although there is no problem with traction (on straight and light ramps), steep ramps also faint, but I can say that my fuel consumption is not bad at all .... I am waiting for your comments .... In egr cancellation, it usually throws black smoke, but if there is water shortage in the vehicle, observe it, antifreeze.

When you say antifreeze a bit more ... So do you think there is a leak?

The turbo may have completed its life. White smoke means that turbo is burning oil. There are other reasons, but in this case turbo. Check the oil level if smoke has been emitted for a long time.

I think like this. Oktk is 2017-03-21 08:52:12

Considering the new white smoke event .... The last Egr cancellation and radiator change in the vehicle is as if it happened after ... What are the other signs that you said the turbo is dead?

It drops from traction and the temperature rises. At first, I read the message wrong and you said it wasn't falling. Turbo may not be finished. It may not be related. I apologize if I misinformed.

The white smoke I know is burning fat. Cylinder gasket, circlip or turbo oil may be missing. Performance does not decrease but oil decreases.

Doesn't it smoke white smoke if it misses water?

I think the problem is in injectors and gaskets

@Oktkor, if there is water now, it only shows when it is cold when it starts first, It works irregularly, it becomes smoky since the combustion is not smooth, the water evaporates when the engine warms up, the engine operation improves (if the water leak is not very much), but the hot exhaust is not determined since the water is not flammable.

I understand.
