Liquids such as oil, antifreeze, gas, acid and water, which have important roles in the working elements of the vehicles, have their own vessels under the hood. The maintenance intervals of these fluids, which are completed or maintained when they decrease, vary.

These fluids, which are vital for the vehicle and its driver, must be maintained according to the instructions for use or instructions.

In the mentioned guide, a lot of information is provided from the liter volumes of the tanks to which liquid should be filled, from the quality and function of the liquids.

The main liquids in the units of our vehicle are:

Engine oil

Engine oil creates a thin film in the form of a film on the entire moving part of the engine, reducing friction and wear, which means more power is transmitted to the wheels. Engine oil helps to clean the engine by means of the detergents it contains, protects against rust and also helps to reduce the excess heat around the cylinders to the sump. The oil is maintained according to the manual.

Everything you wonder about engine oils.

Transmission oil

Recommended maintenance / replacement ratios of gearbox oil, which is recommended to be changed every 40 years to 40,000 to 60,000 kilometers or every 2 years, are available in the vehicle handbook.

Automatic transmission maintenance.

Steering fluid

The hydraulic oil used in the power steering systems is one of the most important liquids. Although leakage probability is low, it should be checked by the service during periodical maintenance and completed if it is missing.

Brake Fluid

Especially in places where the air is hot for a long time, the aging hydraulic oil may boil, and it should be changed once every 1.5 years on average. Even if there is no leakage, it decreases on its own as it fills into the gap formed by the compression of brake pistons and pads over time.

A / C gas

Except for the expert and knowledgeable people, the air conditioner gas which must not be opened and which is filled through the caps on the aluminum pipes located at the back of the engine hood lock, must be filled by the authorized service and by experts. It is envisaged that the air conditioning gas, which has to be checked once a year, will be changed once in 2 years.

Antifreeze

The antifreeze added to the radiator water should be checked once a year and replaced if necessary, to prevent the radiator from rusting and freezing the water in cold weather.

Glass water

Since adding water with detergent additive is more positive in terms of cleaning the glass, it is recommended to use additive water instead of pure water and add it as it is used.
