Hello friends. I have a vehicle at 180000 km with a 2008 model 308 THP engine lpg. While the engine is hot, the temperature remains constant at 90, but the water rises from the reserve water tank and discharges and throws water from the cover. The master says the gasket is burnt. I do not see any water mixture in the oil or any oil mixture in water. There is no swelling in the radiator water hoses, it is normal. There is no white smoke either. I wonder what's the problem

Vehicles with a burnt gasket usually run late in the mornings.Water is filled in the burning room. Whether the exhaust gas is mixed with the cooling liquid or not, it becomes clear in a short time with a chemical liquid.
In addition to these, the cap of the expansion vessel may have lost its properties.

Man, I had the same problem, said the master. After replacing it my problem was resolved. Hope it is something else.

If the gasket is burned, what will it cost me, sir. Or how much it cost you. When I started the car this morning, there was white smoke at first and it stopped shortly when the engine started to warm up. I replaced the spare water tank cap with the original one. And this morning, for the first time, I saw water mixing into the oil. Could be the cost of me, friends, do you have experience?

Did you have a thp engine, master. How much did it cost just to replace the gasket?

Try the cheap possibility first and replace the cover of the expansion vessel with the original one. Sometimes there may be overflow because of it.

Sorry man, I just saw it. It cost me about 1000 TL. The vehicle started to give catalytic convector failure due to gasket. Be careful with the water of the vehicle and get it done as soon as possible, brother.

Expansion vessel is defective, more precisely, it is damaged deliberately. It has been 4 months since I bought the vehicle. I do not want to sell it and enter into sin or haram, I do not want to buy. I changed the cover. It did not drain from the backup water tank, the water is running out again. I think he's mixing the water with the oil. There is thinning in the oil. The gasket looks like a burn. Let's see I got a gasket burn test and an engine wear test on the internet, I'll come soon try them

If you couldn't solve the problem, first replace the bowl and lid with the original one and then definitely change the thermostat. It's a bit expensive, but it's plastic on the outside and it leaks from there, because the water evaporates, no one can locate the leak.
