Water bubbles when the car is washed - 307

My car was waxed a week ago. When I wash the car, the water does not flow to the floor. It stays in the hood and turns into bubbles. When it dries, the bubbles become mud. Do I need to use a water slider? This hasn't happened with my previous vehicles.
