Hello sir. I'm a 307 1.6 HDI owner. I experienced a similar problem. Maybe this will help you. My car's battery was very weak, so I bought a Volt battery because it was affordable. The battery was installed, and a month later, these ridiculous warning lights started flashing all over the car. I had the car serviced around the time I changed the battery. The first error message I received was a warning about water in the fuel filter. I opened the filter's water drain plug and drained a lot of fuel. I had the errors in the ECU cleared. The next day, the problem occurred again. I took it to the mechanic, who said the circuit on the filter was faulty, and we tried another car. The same thing happened. Changing the filter, etc., didn't fix the problem, and other problems started to occur over the course of a week. Now, the real problem started after that. While investigating the problem with the mechanic, we noticed that the battery was leaking acid. The cables coming from the ECU were running under the battery, and the acid from the battery had completely flowed into the cable channel coming from the ECU, melting almost all the cables, causing a short circuit. That's why I was getting ridiculous problems. Once I isolated the cables, all the problems went away immediately :) I experienced a lot during this process. First, drain the fuel filter through the water drain plug. If that doesn't solve the problem, you can try replacing the fuel filter and the circuit board or whatever it's called. When changing the filter, be careful not to let fuel drain from the old filter into the new one. People are too lazy to pump with a handheld or pump for two minutes, so they drain fuel from the old filter into the new one. I recommend checking the fuses, battery, and electrical components. In the unlikely event that the tank cap isn't leaking water and that there's no water accumulation in the tank, this is a last resort.
