Hello friends. About a week ago, I gave my car (207 1.4 hdi 70 hp) to my father, a total of 1,300 km. As my brother said, the speed limit of 110 km never exceeded, but for a few hours it went at a speed of 110 km in 4th gear on the straight road. I normally shift into 5th gear with this gear at a speed of 90 km, while the speed is about 2800. The speed is approximately 3300 while driving with the 4th gear at a speed of 110 km. But those who know the vehicle know, there is already a torque drop after 3000 revolutions, so it makes more sense to get it to 5 instead of forcing it with the 4th gear to go to a higher speed. At this point, I will have a question: Does going for such a long time at such a high speed cause any problems? As far as I know, the turbo operates at a higher pressure, so it needs lubrication, the vehicle's oil reduction, etc. can it be in question? As an additional information, the vehicle entered the periodic maintenance 5,500 km ago. & Nbsp; I am asking for a long weekend, I do not want to encounter a problem. Thanks in advance ..

I don't think anything will happen, the car is new in oil, but the possibility of overheating the car will be high. & nbsp; piston will be worn & nbsp; the turbo can be damaged, but I do not think the oil will decrease, the maintenance is newer.

At 3800 rpm, it will not hurt to go all the time. You will only burn more. You will also force the vehicle to cool more unnecessarily.

My father uses our 2000 model vw transporter 2.5t continuously at 4000 rpm on the long road, which corresponds to speeds of 130-140km in 4 gears and 160-170 km in 5th gear, and I know that I have been driving for 4-5 hours without falling under 4000 cycles at all. There is no reduction, my father's vehicle has been used in this way for 8 years. This is how much hair does not take in the first starter.

[QUOTE = EmSul] My dad uses our 2000 model vw transporter 2.5t continuously at 4000rpm on the long road, which corresponds to the speeds of 130-140km in 4 gears and 160-170 km in 5th gear, and I know I have traveled 4-5 hours without falling under 4000 cycles at all. There is no problem in myself. There is no problem in oil reduction. My father's vehicle is used for 8 years. The master of the car is the same for 8 years and my father is very meticulous. Especially about the engine and his walker. Even if he can do it, he says that it does not make it at the first starter. He advises us to use the vehicle constantly around 3000 rpm. It starts red in 400 rpm. There are 5000 rpm. I think there is no problem. [/ QUOTE]

What if the car doesn't shout at that time mu & nbsp; "LOL" & nbsp; How do you stand & nbsp;

Yoo, because it is high at speed, the sound of the motor is not very disturbing. It may be an advantage of not having a low volume of 2500cc.

I had it checked in a petrol station on the road, there was no reduction. Thanks to everyone who responded .. & nbsp;
