When the error comes, your vehicle vibrates because one or more spark plugs ignite incorrectly. There is no condition that the catalytic converter error will necessarily be caused by the catalyst. It can do it from other places, but it can be from catalyst as it is said, which is one of the worst (expensive) scenarios possible. You need to connect your vehicle to the computer and analyze the part causing the error. Do you get this error especially when the engine is cold or not?
