Hello friends, there is a difference between the average amount of fuel consumed in the trip computer of my vehicle and the average amount of fuel consumed in reality, they do not exactly match, for example, the amount of fuel consumed shows 6 liters per 100 km, but the amount of fuel consumed in reality is 7 liters, it looks like the trip computer has consumed less. it shows, so there is a full 1 liter difference, how is the situation with you, is this normal, thanks guys...

Yes, there is 1 liter difference.

When you go over 30km/h, the trip computer starts calculating instant fuel values. it does not give any value up to this limit. That's why I thought it might be showing less. maybe there is another situation. thought of mine :)

Hello

Can a larger rim be mounted than the original rim?

No, there are 16 inch original wheels on it, but I use the same all season tires in summer and winter, maybe that's why there is a fuel difference...

The correct answer. Especially in areas with high traffic congestion, this truss opens even more. When you measure on a journey that is long enough to consume a full tank, the difference is close to 0. If you see a similar difference on the long road, you can evaluate the rim sizes. Honestly, I have never gotten on a vehicle that measures as accurately as the peugeot trip computer in terms of instant consumption, how many kilometers can be driven with the current fuel.

The trip computer finds the fuel consumed by assuming, not measuring it.
At the beginning
1-Pressure in the fuel log
2-The amount of fuel injected by the injectors at that pressure in a certain time (factory data)
3-The number of times injectors are opened per second and the time they stay open

If your fuel pump pressure is not at the value specified for the vehicle
Injectors change as they age If the amount of fuel started to give

The trip computer's account calibration will be surprised. So it's not something to worry too much about. The trip computer is not a measuring instrument, so its tolerance is high.
The amount of evaporated fuel, the fuel injected into the catalytic to heat the catalytic, if any, or the fuel spent at idle are not taken into account. For example, if you stop and go at low speed in congested traffic, the engine consumes more at the start, but the trip computer does not calculate it.
