Hello everyone, this is my first time posting in this forum. Forgive me if a similar topic has been opened before. My vehicle is Peugeot 308, 2015 model diesel automatic, at 38 thousand. I bought the car from the original owner two weeks ago. I am very pleased with the vehicle, but when taking off or when the brake is pressed halfway, a squeaking sound comes from the front console. After pressing the gas the sound disappears. However, this sound is very disturbing when you stop and go in heavy traffic. I showed it to a few masters, some said it might be the gearbox, some said it might be from the engine mounts, some said it might be from the engine housing. But I've had them all checked and there's no problem with any of them. When I listened carefully to the sound, I realized that it was coming from inside the dash. That's why no sound can be heard from outside. I asked the person I bought the car from, and he said that he showed this sound to the service and the service said this sound is normal. He said that because the battery is weak, the start-stop is not activated, so this sound may be coming. However, it seems to me that it is not related to start stop. Because I disable the start stop, the sound comes again. I think it's coming from the air conditioning pipes inside the chest or some other part in that area. Where do you think the problem might come from? What is the solution?

I think one of the plastic parts clips holding something inside is deformed and it is making a noise from vibration. It's hard to find the console without disassembling it completely
Get well soon

Now, when the classic conversation of services becomes a big problem, user error. What do you say "bro he's normal" it's normal. There's no point in making yourself whistle on your feet under warranty .

Thanks guys for your answers. Today I showed the vehicle to Bosch Car Service in Ümraniye/Dudullu. The master there solved the problem in a snap. I wanted to share it here and help those who have similar problems. The sound was coming from the intercooler radiator. It seemed to me through the chest, but I was wrong. One of the legs of the intercooler just behind the right headlight is broken. The master solved the problem by welding a plastic there. The owner before me said that the right headlight was changed. Probably when the right headlight was damaged, the intercooler was also displaced and its leg was broken. Fortunately, problem solved. I recommend Bosch car service to everyone.
