Deficient air pressure also leads to excessive pressure on the tire shoulders, resulting in wear, reducing tire life by up to 30%. In line with its mission to make road mobility safer and more affordable, Michelin aims to extend the role of tires to larger masses, and always warns drivers to regularly check their tire pressures for safe and economical driving. It is recommended to press the tires in air at least once a month and in accordance with the vehicle manufacturer's recommendation before long trips.
