good evening everyone.
my car 2008 model 207 1.4 Trendy 90 hp.
now at 35,000 km.
Do I need to change the triger, friends? We continue with the original strap from the day it was received.
some say rubber life is 4 years. The tool is 5 years old.
I want to get your opinion.

Normally it has been referred to as 5 years or 80 thousand by the manufacturer, but in the 7th year I have changed it to 80 thousand :) nevertheless you do not neglect. at least you just replace the tensioner and tensioner bearing, not the circulation pump etc, then the cost will be slightly reduced.

As I said, the vehicle is now 5 years old, but since it is 35,000 km, I did not think of delaying it a bit.
As the timing I know changes, the circulation should change as well. The forum hardware news also wrote a friend that the belt was broken as a result of the circulation of the circulation. The vehicle was vw poloy.

Even if it does not worry that my friend has paid for workmanship again, it would be less likely to break off the belt within 2 months.

the timing belt is rubber and constantly rotating. not possible to wear. The shelf life of both rubber is 5 years, just as we are not buying stale when buying tires, if we take into account the shelf life.

Also if the timing belt breaks. May Allah not show
water pump is not an expensive thing. I bought my car at 44 thousand km and 7 years old, my first job was to replace the timing water pump. timing bearings and water pump turn on the same belt. If the water pump fails in the future, you will pay the timing work again. Also, be sure to take the gasket while buying the water pump.
