First of all, I wish all forum friends enjoyable forums.

My name is Ahmet, I just became a member; I hope from now on I will spend more time in this forum.

It's a 2.0LT diesel auto for a long time. I want to buy a car. My budget allows MK4 Mondeo and 407.

After long research, I decided to buy a 407 with AM6 gearbox, but as you can imagine, it is a bit difficult to find the clean and well-maintained of such specific vehicles.

I have a few options and I need your advice.

First of all, 2006 Exc. Prem. AL4 (130K.-km), 2008 Comf. AM6 (124K.-KM) and 2007 Exc.Prem. AM6 (132K.-KM) I am among 3 vehicle alternatives, but I haven't had the opportunity to go and look at any of them yet.

All of the vehicles are 2-3 pieces of painted tramer records which are low and mostly from 2nd users.

First, what are the differences between AL4 and AM6 for the user; Is there a difference between these two transmissions in terms of durability and service life?

Do 2.0 HDIs have a chronic problem; If 120-130 thousand km is looked at properly, are there any people experiencing any problems in the forum?

If you can share your general opinion for these tools, I would be very grateful.

I would like to thank everyone who answered in advance.

Hello, welcome to us first. I hope you can find a vehicle for your heart. I recommend you to stay away from al4 gearboxes. it is really difficult to find a clean vehicle, 120-130 thousand km vehicle maintenance etc. If it has been done, except for minor problems, my teacher will not cause you any problems. As a result, the second-hand car will never be unnoticed, the engine, which has been washed unconsciously, may have a headache when you take it, so it can give many examples like this. For am6 şazuman, I suggest you to examine this issue.
