Hello. I'm having serious problems with my Peugeot 208 2015 1.2 PureTech VTI, which I bought 3-4 months ago. It started with excessive oil consumption (2 liters in 8 days), and then it stranded me twice. I'm sending you the photos of the warning lights when I was stranded. I took it to the mechanic, and he changed the spark plugs. 4-5 days later, the engine fault light came on again, and a few hours later, I was stranded again. I'm also sending you the errors we get when we connect it to the computer. (The alternator error is because the car has a Peugeot 308 alternator; there's actually no problem with the alternator). It gives a 3-coil error. The mechanics approach the issue with "It's a miracle that all 3 coils failed at the same time" and are looking for something else. The last mechanic I took it to lifted it and checked for oil leaks. He said there were no leaks and that the engine needed to be rebuilt. He said the minimum cost is 110,000₺. I took it to Paris Auto in Maslak Auto Industry (a private service that only specializes in PSA Group). They said the same thing. The crate engine price from Eurorepar is 215,000₺. When I asked what the problem was, they said, "Either the oil ring is gone or the valve stem." Guys, I bought this car for 455,000₺. I haven't been able to get it fixed three times. The expense is incalculable. I bought oil as if I were buying gas. The last mechanic changed the car's oil and put in 10-40. Before, I was only putting in Total Quartz 5-30. I bought it as my first car, and I'm completely screwed. I read some experienced people on this engine forum. Every mechanic I go to, they tell me more because they see I don't understand a bit. If anyone has experienced this problem, can solve it, or has any ideas, I'd be so grateful. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1WLUnzccsFapU-z6sG7t8rXojsIL2nk99?usp=share_link

Hello, Paris Oto is good, but it's quite old. It's better to buy a brand new crate engine than to have the old one rebuilt. You can buy the engine from our sponsor at an affordable price. https://www.pejo.com.tr/peugeot-208-yedek-parca/motor-grubu GökhaN2025-10-13 10:40:14
