Hello everyone, I have a 2016 Peugeot 308 with an EAT6 transmission. I've had it for a month and have experienced this problem about 10 times in that time. When the car speed drops significantly or when I stop (it doesn't always happen, usually after a longer drive), the engine revs up as if it were in neutral, but the car doesn't move. Even when I shift to manual, the gear doesn't shift. Turning the ignition off and on again only gets the car to move. What could be the problem? Should I change the transmission oil? It's an EAT6 transmission. The day after I bought the car, I had it serviced and connected to a computer; the mechanic went for a test drive at a Euroreper service center. He didn't tell me anything about a problem. After experiencing this problem again, I went to another mechanic a few days ago. He said the transmission switch and then the ECU need replacing, costing around 45k. But this transmission is known for being reliable. For some reason, I don't think it's that serious a problem. Any help would be appreciated. https://static.cloudflareinsights.com/beacon.min.js/v8c78df7c7c0f484497ecbca7046644da1771523124516" integrity="sha512-8DS7rgIrAmghBFwoOTujcf6D9rXvH8xm8JQ1Ja01h9QX8EzXldiszufYa4IFfKdLUKTTrnSFXLDkUEOTrZQ8Qg==" data-cf-beacon="{"version":"2024.11.0","token":"11ac6a036a5c4b83a3c20a30a3bc3ba2","r":1,"server_timing":{"name":{"cfCache Status":true,"cfEdge":true,"cfExtPri":true,"cfL4":true,"cfOrigin":true,"cfSpeedBrain":true},"location_startswith":null}}" crossorigin="anonymous"> Yba2026-04-16 20:27:53
