The vehicle cannot be started

I have a 2015 Peugeot 308 T9. When the car is locked, when I approach it and grasp the door handle, both the lock and side mirrors unlock, and I should be able to start the car. However, only the door lock unlocks, the side mirrors don't, and the car won't start. After waiting a while and trying a few times, the car starts and the mirrors fold. What's the problem, and how can I fix it? I replaced the battery in the remote control. The battery appears to be normal.
