I took it to the turner in the industry today. removed the hub, could not remove the screw. He expanded the hole, put a piece in it and welded the thread and solved the problem. Is this practice alone that is stuck in my mind? Is there anything like that happening to him?

If he did it properly, it wouldn't be okay to even hold 3 studs. Don't worry about the rim.
