The smell of oil on the way

Are you able to distinguish between oil smell or diesel smell?

Is there an oil leak etc on the engine ??? or an oil splash etc on the exhaust ???

I say take a good look on the engine, if there is a slight leakage in the gasket, it smells because of the engine temperature.

My friend has a similar problem too, the first time I start the heater, it causes 1-2 drops of oil leaking from the gasket. It disappears after 3-4 minutes. If there is no serious oil leak like mine, open the windows the first time you open the heating system.
