Hello Yes it's true, I've had such a problem too. Water was leaking from inside the bonnet up to the bottom of the spare wheel. After the checks, I found that water leaked from the tailgate mounts. I solved the problem by squeezing silicone under the tailgate mounts.

The new model 508 ceiling comes off the production line in a fabricated trapezoid form on some models. If you go to the service, they will fix the problem.
