Hello everyone. At the beginning of this month, I purchased a new 2023 facelifted Peugeot 2008, a 1.2-liter Puretech gasoline engine and automatic transmission. I'm extremely happy with my car, but I've noticed a problem in the last couple of days and wanted to write here to get some information about what might be causing it. When I turn the steering wheel all the way to the right and move forward or backward, it feels like the car is passing over something a few centimeters thick. This is especially noticeable when I'm driving slowly. I don't experience this problem when I turn all the way to the left. What do you think could be the cause? When I searched online, I found mentions of noises when turning all the way to the right or left, but either no one has encountered this problem, or everyone who has encountered it knows the cause and hasn't felt the need to ask. I would be very grateful if you could share your thoughts on the problem. Best regards, Samet

So, the 2023 is the same as the 2003. My car, when I turn right, sometimes reacts as if it's going over a small stone a couple of times, as you said. This is an issue with the axle joints. I haven't had any problems with it for 10 years, but I try not to turn the steering wheel all the way.

I noticed the same problem. Did you find a solution?

Hello. I've been busy for a while and haven't been able to attend to it, but I'll probably be taking the car in for service sometime in February at the latest. I'm trying to keep it running smoothly so it doesn't become irreparable. I'll update here after the service.
