Friends I also have peugeot 307 comfort. I dropped the key down. then when I tried to start the car, the car did not work. There is an exclamation mark in the triangle on the screen. Starting but engine does not start. I searched for the error written on the trip computer and found something like "key error". Then I realized that sound comes from the key. Something has broken off. I went to the keymaker, opened it, looked at the key, collected it. however, the vehicle did not work the same. I did not disconnect the battery. I have not advanced the tool a little. whatever i did is always the same mistake. I think the car doesn't recognize the key. I think there is something about immobilizer. Because we have connected to the computer, there is no error record. the master said about the contact. Now I am waiting for your help. How to introduce this key back to the car. I'm waiting for urgent help. I am a village teacher, I cannot go to school if there is no vehicle.

I don't know much about the subject, I think it makes sense to call peugeot service and ask what you should do about the subject. serv. Phone. 0 (216) 579 94 44

Do you have a spare key first?
if not, does the dirididite sound when the key touches the contact?
if there is no sound, the key chip is damaged. The service seems to be about 250 escapes.
Good luck with.

It is likely that the immobilizer chip is damaged, have you checked the chip physically intact?

If you are in Istanbul, you can get 70-100 TL in the key maker in the eagle metro. While I was cleaning the inside of the key, I threw the chip in the garbage and I realized it later. It is likely that the chip was damaged, maybe if you want to dislodge it, open the inside of the key box and check if there is a small black chip.
If you have a spare key, it is likely that it is a plain key without control and there is a small hole on the right and you can try to insert the chip in the spare key to the key you use constantly by inserting the needle.
If the service is not familiar, it is quite a problem to give the key password if you have the license.

If the contact is turning, it means that there is no mechanical problem in the key, so the problem is in immobilizer, as you guessed. Exactly, you can run it with a spare key. You can open the key yourself at home, maybe the keymaker hasn't put it in place, a tiny chip they call immobilizer after all.
I think it doesn't work because it doesn't stay in the chip socket.

Exactly the problem is immoda. As the friends say, turn on the key and fully seat the immobilizer. Get well soon.

Just like the friend said, unscrew the key and snap the immobilizer into place (when you insert a small chip key, the key should be closest to the contact and you see its slot there).

I love you all, friends. I solved the problem. the key was scattered. I made a new chip from the coal chip one. I also made a spare key with a chip. it cost me 160 lira. Understanding how many people looked, a competent keymaker took it in half an hour. Thank you for your interest.
