Although the use of child car seats in our country has increased in recent years, it is still at a very low level compared to developed countries. While it is enough for many families to sit on the baby's lap or just in the back of the baby while traveling, the studies show that unfortunately, accidents that may cause serious injuries may occur even when traveling at a speed of 20 km.

According to the children's weight, suggestions;

The mother's lap model, made for 0-12 months (0-9 kg) babies, is preferred. In the back seat, the baby's face is placed facing the back window.

Up to 4 years old (10-18 kg) mobile child safety seats should be used. These can be mounted on the back seat, facing forward. The child should travel as long as possible, in the 0-12 month period, with his face facing back in the car seat.

Between 4-12 (15-36 kg) children will not be able to use mobile seats in height and weight, and booster child safety car seats should be used as they are not ready to use the seat belt yet.

The seat belt must be worn after the age of 12.
