friends hello ... 1.6hdi 407 I observed that my 407 vehicle had better performance when the engine was cold and I am experiencing some performance degradation in the vehicle after the engine warms up, is this normal in the diesel? anybody else observing this situation besides me?

Do you have an open air filter in your vehicle? If hot air is drawn when the engine is warming up, traction may fall to the engine.

Even in drag races, they pay attention to the engine temperature of the vehicle. In a program, the man was withdrawn from the race because he was waiting too much during departure and the vehicle was getting too hot. I hdi not only 206 but also the other vehicle, c3 hdi, I also observed that after a certain rush of traction, but if you use a small amount of room all the time, you can understand

yes, there is not much difference and as you said, it is not a situation that everyone can feel, especially after chip, I started to feel more pronounced after this event ... it is wrong to say that this performance is low performance.

but it may be inconvenient for the engine to perform performance tests when the engine is cold. Sudden overheating can damage the engine.

I am not asking for you, my word is completely general. the temperature came to my mind when it was cold, so I could observe; I wait a little bit when I start the vehicle on winter day, I move after 1 min. I look at others, the air is 0 degrees, the car has slept at night, they arrive at 7 in the morning, as they pressed the ignition, they lift the cars in 60th gear in 1st gear, then they say why the engine is over 100 thousand .. even my heart hurts ..

I adjust to those types.

Actually, you should run them naked in the cold weather as you awaken them in the morning blind.

check air filter boots and connections. If there is deformation or something in place, it may be drawing the heat of the engine.
