Hello everyone, I have a problem that I hope someone with knowledge of a solution can help me. My car is a 206 model year 2005 with x-line package. It has a single line information display in the center console. The lights that illuminate the center information display never go out whether I turn off or lock the car. When I turn off the ignition, the text goes out, but the screen light stays on. It's been like this for about a year. I unplugged the connector and disabled the display, but I want to solve this problem now. I've had the car for 3 years and used it for 2 years without any problems. It came to this state on its own. Here are the things I noticed about the problem: - No matter what I do, the information display light doesn't go out. It doesn't go out whether I turn off the ignition or lock the car. By the way, the odometer is normal, for example, when I turn off the ignition, it stays on for a certain period of time and then turns off, but this center display, when I lock the car and check it 1 hour later, the lights are still on. - When I turn on the headlights, the lights used to dim. This doesn't happen anymore. I replaced the turn signal stalk yesterday (because the strip on the turn signal stalk was broken, the headlights were always on, and components such as the signal and horn were not working.) I thought maybe replacing the turn signal stalk would fix it, but I saw that it was still the same. -When the screen failed, there was no connection to the installation or sound system. Everything worked properly for 2 years and is still the same. Things I tried to solve; -The screen has been in this condition for a long time, the battery terminal has been disconnected and reconnected many times. There were even times when the battery remained disconnected for a few days. -I watched the computer reset videos on the internet and tried a few times, but it still did not fix it. -I played with both the buttons on the screen and the buttons on the instrument panel, but the screen light does not respond at all. It is constantly on. I hope you can suggest a solution. tolga1062024-03-03 16:28:22
