Hello, my car is 207 1.4 Gasoline, LPG 75 hp. The temperature gauge stays above 90 in city driving and it is normal outside the city. This problem did not exist before. The car mixed oil with the engine water. The upper cover gasket was changed. The temperature sensor was replaced with an original part. The radiator pipes etc. were cleaned and then this problem started. The mechanic said it was normal. I couldn't understand it.

I have a 206 2003 1.4 petrol and another friend just asked me the same thing. It is over 90 in traffic and drops to 70 on flat roads. Everyone I ask says it is normal and the person who drives the car also says it is normal. I couldn't figure it out either.

Hello. So, was the front radiator (and even the heater core) changed? After all, the oil mixed with the water clogged those cores too.

The previous owner said the car's oil cooler had burst and was replaced with a new one. He changed the engine coolant and antifreeze 3-4 times in a year. It was completely cleaned within a year. If the temperature is exactly above 90 in heavy traffic, yes, that's what I do. If it's between 90 and 80, like 85, the car is running quite comfortably. But if it's above 90, I usually do the following. Especially if we're going uphill, I turn the heater on in the hot position, put it on my feet, and open the window. Because it uses the heat to warm the interior, the temperature drops below 90 in a few minutes. If your car is about to overheat, say, if it's going past 110, you can pull over to the right and wait for it to cool down. Even if you press the air conditioning button while idling, the second-stage fan will start.

I'm having the same problem. I also changed the engine coolant cap today. I'll try that. I'll also try bleeding the radiator.
