Hi friends, my name is from Mehmet Diyarbakır, I have a 1998 model 306 gti car. My problem is that when the car is driving, it suddenly cuts off the gas, the motor slows down as it stops, it gets better when I pull it out of the gas and it does it, sometimes it makes me bored. I am waiting for your opinions if there are masters who have knowledge on the subject or friends who have the same problem

Well, I have a bole in my mind. I have a problem with 307. I did not show it to me when my foot was on the gas pedal.

look at the gasoline pump, if my brother is faulty, it is because the gas is not coming. I had the same problem in me.

This looks like the title you opened;
It may be a throttle (I do not know if it is electronic). If this problem occurs when your vehicle is traveling at different angles, it may be due to uphill, downward, gasoline level in your tank. The fact that it does not connect to the device and display a problem means there is no electronic fault, which should be a clue that you should focus on a mechanical fault.
Briefly;
gas butterfly
gas pump
plus your car also has lpg, which brand do you use? Peugeot does not have all brands of LPG systems, for example, a friend of mine had a Ramses sequential system on 306 1.8 vehicle and similar problems occurred to the problem you experienced, he removed all the problems by removing the system from the vehicle and replacing it with an experienced master.

the throttle is not electric but old wired. There is also a throttle position sensor under the tab.

I removed the throttle and cleaned it, but I did not get any results. I think it would not be done in LPG if it was a gas pump.

Hello, my brother, I had the same problem. After 2000 cycles, it starts to cut, but it does not go away. It was okay, I advise you not to play with any part of the car ... you said you have it connected to the device? is déjà vu 2011-04-18 15:36:59

No, it was not connected to the device of the authorized service or they couldn't connect it, so I say that in the private service, the engine was connected with the chassis number and it did not fail, but the problem is just like you wrote, brother, let's change the oxygen sensor as soon as possible.

I have that same problem. I did lpg maintenance, I changed all the filters, I did the butterfly cleaning, I changed the spark plugs, I changed the gas filter.
