I drove my 2007 model 1.6 gasoline automatic 207 from Istanbul to the Izmir toll booths without any problems and without stopping. After stopping to get a receipt at the toll booths, when accelerating again (very slightly uphill), the car stuck in 1st gear, did not shift to 2nd, and the fan started working. I pulled over to the right. When I turned off the ignition, the fan also stopped. When I started the car again, the fan also came on. I waited 5-10 minutes with the ignition off to let it calm down. When I started it after 10 minutes, it continued without any problems. From there, I drove for another 3-4 hours, this time with 2-3 breaks for gas and lunch. This problem did not occur again. It has 153,000 km. The transmission was replaced at 90,000 km.
