Hello friends, There was a lot of rain here this morning and I had to come. I came to a shop on arrival and everything was normal and normal until I ran my car at the exit. I started the vehicle and while I was not wearing the seat belt while fastening the seat belt, my horn stole shortly. I said, I guess my arm was stuck, but I don't understand. Then I proceeded and the strange sequence of events continued. In 15 minutes, my horn rang 3-5 times. Behold, when the gasoline runs out, it beeps, and it started to come from it. The value of the outside temperature on the screen - started to show. Then this was fine. Finally, while parking, two yellow signs appeared on the main screen, indicating that the air vents were off. Then I parked, came, came, and I ask you. My own opinion is that water flowed on one side and a short circuit from the rain. Have you ever encountered this problem before? My vehicle: 2003 model 307 SW 1.6 gasoline Thanks in advance. |

Hi The vehicle's BSI brain may have taken water. In the 307s, there is a black grille-like plastic on the driver's side outside the vehicle. it's a removable piece. In general, when the sound system or alarm will be installed, they pull the cable through the place I mentioned. There will be a space under the plastic piece like a grill and a black stopper inside. If the plug or alarm cable-sound system power cable is not pulled and siliconized from there, it may cause BSI brain to get wet right under it. You should check this place. If this is not the case, if there are any unplugged plugs in the vehicle that would disrupt the current, have them checked. For example, I got xenon headlights last week and I got AIRBAG FAULT and BRAKE FAULT error because of current breakdown. By installing a capacitor, the current was balanced and errors were interrupted. However, it may be due to the first error I wrote that it happened after excessive rain. In the picture, I marked the place you can reach by lifting the hood. If he does not have a black plug inside when he lifts the cap, the brain may probably be wet. But I'm just guessing. Sorry if it's wrong |

A similar situation was the result of my old 406's cd changer getting water from the stop edge. It is likely that one part of the vehicle's electrical installation has come into contact with water. But which region is of course difficult to predict.

Thank you for your answers. Until I get home, I will take me to the right side, I will look all over. I suppose it is corrected when it is found and insulated. |

the plastic cover is with tabs and I recommend you to be careful while removing it. It is not very sensitive but when you first lift the bottom, it will come out on top.
