The low speed, stalling during stop-and-go, and the temperature gauge momentarily dropping to zero you're describing are most likely an electrical connection/contact issue. Especially in Peugeot 206s, this is caused by the BSI computer, main fuse box (BM34), chassis connections, or engine wiring. My brief solution suggestion: Check the main fuse box (BM34) and BSI for oxidation/poor contact. Disconnect, clean, and securely reconnect the chassis cables (engine block chassis and battery chassis). Check the temperature sensor connector and cable (a short circuit in the sensor could cause the ECU to receive incorrect data and stall). A new throttle body is not essential; adaptation and a detailed cleaning are necessary. If the problem persists, a road test with live data should be performed at an authorized service center; this will allow for a momentary outage.
