GOOD FORUMS. I am using 2006 model 307 1.6 bnz / lpg vehicle. The steering wheel had hardened and softened again while driving for the last 4-5 days. This happened almost 5-6 times today. When it hardens, the contact becomes closed, I cannot rotate it at all. I pull it to the right and wait for it to soften again. Has anyone faced this kind of problem? steering fluid oil full. They said trouble from the pump. I would like to receive your ideas, thank you.

Unfortunately, the electronic card inside the steering pump is probably oxidized.

My teacher said that the pump will change. but I guess it is quite costly. several masters said it can be repaired. If it cannot be repaired, you can change it by quitting etc. Now, when you say repair, these electrical cables are repaired. Because there was oxidation in the sockets of the airbag, we made 30 tl. Do you think this is it?

Unfortunately my brother is repairing 30-40 TL. Can find 300-400 TL cviars. you are more likely to experience the same problem. around zero 800 TL. violated. around 2000 TL original. sonerkyl 2017-12-25 15:22:56

so would you recommend repairs? or repair-quit-imported. which of these three actions would you recommend?

My brother, my advice is to have the original steering wheel repaired. One of our 307 members has had it repaired for over 1 year. As the sub-industry pump is guaranteed, the second option is the original pump with 3 options.

tşkler. Let's take it to the industry tomorrow. Let's see what solutions we will encounter.

My teacher went to the industry and looked at the master. He said that he had a pump and an electrical box and that he had to be repaired, because he was electric, he would disable it. I was left in the industry for 5-6 hours, and I paid the cost of 250 TL, but before I went 1 km, it hardened again and I took it back. The cables to which the steering wheel was connected were damaged again, as it opened the box with electrical components. The master said to me, he left me, he gave me his own car. one day later he called and said that he had to change the pump. Zero pump gave 950 TL price. He said he would receive the 250 TL workmanship fee that I gave before. Now this price was called 1000 TL including workmanship, so it came too much do you think it is normal? or did the master say too much? I said I'll leave the car tomorrow. sosyolog_56 2017-12-29 02:03:33

Subsidiary industry will have a probability of growth in the price of 800-1000 TL.

No, my teacher accepts the first 250 TL I give as workmanship.

then we can say that the price is normal

just like my teacher, the prices of imported sub-industry pumps are around

I wish I had seen what you wrote before ... There were production errors in the steering pump in 2005 and earlier models and these vehicles were recalled and their problems were fixed. Burning out from this, the PSA group used pumps that did not fail easily in 2006 and younger vehicles.

Your mechanic has spent you money in vain, first ask him to put the old pump back in your car and return the money he received and do not go there again!

Unfortunately there are plenty of out-of-the-box steering pumps in the market that are not defective as they are removed from your vehicle!

The power steering pump has 2 sockets, one with 70 ah maxi fuse directly from the battery + supply and work cable the other is a socket with thin cables carrying a common contact signal and other data with a 10 ah fuse.

If you had gone to a master who knew the job, you could remove the two sockets and start the pump independently from your vehicle with the test sockets connected to the external battery, and you could turn the steering wheel where the vehicle stopped, thanks to the hydraulic pump of your vehicle that was switched off.

If possible, remove the + terminal and then the fuse box. There are large fuses called maxi under the fuse box, if it is not replaced, it is the one on the supply directly from the battery to the pump, which is a single 70 ampere. Even if that fuse appears to be intact, even if a short circuit appears when you measure the ends, the metal loses its property very quickly because the current passing over it is too high and if you fail to transfer the necessary current, even if you force your feet a little, it will break like a plastic part, the control card inside the pump that cannot obtain the current it needs is properly it is disabled because it does not send a signal. The other fuse is on the power line (common used) that is opened when the contact is opened, replace it as well. Clean the places where the fuses are installed with contact cleaner, never install the terminal head before it dries completely.

This process solves your problem 99%, PSA group installations and sockets are of high quality. If the installation is not damaged due to accidents, it is not easily damaged if it is not installed unconsciously on the cables that are unrelated to the subject by installing additional equipment such as sound system, using different lighting / audio products, and so on. The remaining 1% chance is cable transmission or BSI failure.

I did not write the insurance numbers because there are different fuse boxes. If you provide your e-mail address, I can send the electrical connection scheme of the steering pump and the insurance photos that have lost their characteristics.

I had the same problem. I went to the private service and the pump said it was okay ... But they couldn't find the problem either ... I got out and went to the electronics shop. If the electricity that feeds the pump is normally 12V, for example, mine gives 5V. The fuse box was checked and the switch with the pump fuse melted with oxide. They fixed the problem, the problem was solved ... If the master says that the pump is OK, you should go to the electronics shop. Get well soon...

My teacher has already made pump repairs, master. In my province, siirt-batman, it is hard to find very good master pejo group here. He said that he would do the repair and repair from the fuse box first, and I made it for 250 TL, but he said that the pump should be replaced when the problem occurs again on the same day. We had to get it done right away because the steering hydraulic breakdown was a serious problem. the old pump is also in my car.

The pump does not easily malfunction. Steering oil may be less. Oil in the pump may have air. Contact may be in electrical installation. how did we lift the car to life, the car was not working when I was on the lift, I turned the front wheel to the right and left quickly, of course. To get the air in the pump, I inserted a clean hose from the cover, pulled the oil into the hose and then refilled it.

The 70-amp main fuse steering pump makes a litter when it gets on the load, usually this disease replaces that fuse and squeezes the place where it passes, and the problem is solved.

I have read all of the articles that have been written up to now. As of now, my erectile stiffness has occurred ... it has been done 3 months ago and it has recovered again. It took 2 days and still has not recovered. There was oil on the plastic side.
what color is this 70 amp fuse?
And where is the insurance company going to be the bottom side? Can you describe your location exactly ??
thanks in advance for your comments

I disassembled the fuse box. There were 3 fuses of 70 amperes and three of them did not blow normally. when I look at the steering pump there is a lot of oil can flow from the pump. I wonder if this is the problem .. is it necessary to insert the bumper to reach the pump
