Hello guys, I want to ask a question to my head. My car has a 1.2 vti 72hp engine, and in the winter months, especially in January and February, it emits a steamy white smoke from the exhaust. There is no blowout on the dipstick, the cold and oil levels are normal. Is this steam phenomenon normal?

White smoke is not a good thing, first of all, if there is odor, it means it is burning oil. I hope it is not an engine. Wink

Put your hand in the exhaust and press the gas if there is odor, if it is burning oil, it is normal then Big smile

Since the weather gets colder in the winter months, it throws steam and water from the exhaust, which is quite normal, although my vehicle is 307 1.4 HDi, it also throws steam and water until it warms up. :)

Thank you for the answer. Today the weather was very nice, this time there was no steam for example :)

It is normal to have steam and water until it gets warmer in winter.
Physics rule. Watch the video is self explanatory.
