SOUND FROM THE 307'S REAR SHOCK ABSORBER

Hello friends.
As most 307 users know, we suffer from the hitting sound coming from the rear shock absorbers of the Peugeot 307 vehicles, usually on stabilized roads and when the vehicle is loaded. There are friends trying to solve this problem with the original shock absorber, but the original is likely to cause the same trouble.
The sound is usually formed when the part called "leggings" that stands on the shock absorber and prevents dust water, etc., is left idle and it jumps and hits the upper side in situations that require sudden stretching of the shock absorber such as pit etc. This sound is more frequent when the vehicle is loaded.
This business has different solutions. These;
1- Bilstein brand gas shock absorber.
2- Monreo brand gas shock absorber (I do not know if any friends have a clear solution about this product.)
3- Finally and I will explain the solution with the help of silicon.
The plastic piece 5 in the picture is "leggings" and passes to the upper part of the shock absorber. The reason is that foreign materials such as water and dust do not enter the shock absorber.
The upper part of this leggings must be above and inside the part "3" to which the shock absorber is attached. But over time, it gets rid of this nest and falls down. Every time the tire falls down, it jumps up with the blow it receives from the bottom and makes a sound by hitting "3".
Solution,
The first thing is to put the car on the jack and clean the end of the part 5 and the part of the part 3 with silicon thoroughly, without removing the tire. If you wait for it to dry for a while and protect it from water, etc., you can enjoy a quiet Peugeot 307.
Best regards.

On the previous day, the leggings that were hanging from the bosses were siliconized into their slots. I am still in the trial process, but I no longer hear any sound. I did a few other things while siliconing. So I'm not sure if the sound comes from this leggings directly.

Good job. Thank you Metin.

Excuse me, brother.
When it comes to the subject, yes, it may not be just from the leggings, but because of this, I tried to help them so that they do not cool down from the vehicle.
As you said, the shock absorber may break out, the spare wheel is loose or the jacking wheel wrench inside can make a sound.

Can it be applied to 206s?

I do not want to give false information, but I think I know that 206's have torsion behind, no shock absorber.

Nice Work Brother Thank You For Informing ...

I have the same boredom, for some reason I get strange strange noises from the back ...
I suspect a Pandisot, but a great possibility might be from Keplar.

it is because the big ithimal z tors are dispersed, some sensitive ones can disperse quickly according to use.

The 206's have no springs at the back, two torsion bars running along the axle and two dampers running almost horizontally. There are no sounding parts in the shock absorbers, no trinkets like the 307's. If there is a sound in the 206 that you are sure of coming from the rear, especially the shock absorber or torsion, it is likely that the torsion balls are scattered. Another possible source of sound is the hub balls. I can't say anything clear without hearing it. If the hub balls are scattered, 130 pounds to the complete core, 50-60 pounds only. If the torsion balls are scattered, there is a cost of 400-500 liras.

I also have 206 quik, I replaced all the mechanical parts of the car that could make sound with zero, but again there is sound, again there is sound. My master argues that especially in lowered pugs, the sounds coming into the cabin cannot be interrupted, I think he is right: when S crosses the car, a separate squeaking sound comes from every point of the car's cup: D

Well, after I did this, the sound was cut from the back, no sound from the front or from the back,

Last year, I did this application as well. As I passed through the casists, I had lacquered noises, and then I saw that the leggings were idle.
