Slm. From my peugeot206 x-line 2005 model, when the engine is cold in the morning, a cracking noise comes from the engine. When the engine gets hot, the noise is reduced. I'm in the circuit, I changed the belt. Then they said from the battery. I would appreciate if those with knowledge can help ..

I think change your engine oil and use slightly thinner oil.
Then add antifreeze by changing your radiator water.
These come to my mind.
