Short shift is actually a modification. It means shortening the gear lever. The short gear lever serves to save time spent on gearshifts. In this way, the performance of the vehicle increases.

Thanks for the info, I thought it was getting in the gearbox :).

There is an intermediate piece that is attached to the arm in the part that enters transmission, without shortening the gear lever. When it is attached to the track, the distance of the gear lever forward and backward is shortened. this time you are shifting with a shorter movement ... but this may not happen to every vehicle. it will be 206 or so, as it is in the 306s. because it looks very similar to each other. maybe it can be applied in other models ...

In this video, a young man is following a short shifter to WRX. This is also called Quick shift. I think logic is the same and applicable in all vehicles.

indeed 307's gear shift intervals are long
I wonder where the piece can be found, can we make your team everywhere?

One of the basic applications of the modification. It is possible to see most of them in 106 GTI.

Yes, friends, the subject seems to be obsolete, but for those who will have a few questions. My question about shortening the shift interval. If it is possible to apply the gti to the vehicle, where can we do it. Where does the service do special service. Who does this in the industry ... There seems to be an extra piece to be worn.

man, you can find this piece on the net and the mechanic who knows the work you trust can easily mount this piece, I guess I gave the link between 65 and 70 TL.
