I don't know if I bought it on 17 wheels, it is like this. I want to replace it with 16, just from this thin cheek subject. What happens if I lose? Would you suggest such a change? thanks.

If you put it on 16 rims, the tire sidewall will increase. The comfort of the car increases, relaxes traction and burns less. I suggest

What is the size of your 17 tires? For example, if you measure 215 45 17 and switch to 16 rims, the new size may be 205 50 or 55 16. If the tire size on your vehicle is 17, it is not recommended to reduce it to 16. If you pass 16 this way, your total tire circle diameter should be equal, this ratio should not exceed 3%. Assuming you keep the diameters equal, it will not help you much about fuel. Only comfort will increase. Performance is also somewhat related to the weight of the rim, and this problem is addressed in light alloy wheels. Also, if you are an intermediate turbo diesel, you will not feel that much. My Transporter T4 minibus had 205 65 15 iron rim weight 11 kg, then I installed the same size light alloy rim, the jat comes 6- 6.5 kg. Now I have Eta Beta Tettsut 17 205 45 15 instead of 225 45 17 not much difference other than comfort |
