Pressure Adjustment Valve Operation:

A) The fuel system does not work when it makes air. The air in the fuel system must be taken. Fuel coming from the fuel inlet record through the hand pump. It can not pass. fuel applies pressure to the top of the piston and descends downwards, as in figure b. The fuel comes to the transfer pump outlet of the pressure regulating valve and fills the pump from here. The air pump is vented by opening the intake plug.

B) Fuel coming from the feed pump enters the fuel inlet record and comes to the pressure regulating valve. Since the transfer pump is working, the fuel is sent to the transfer pump.

The amount of fuel pressed by the transfer pump is always higher than the desired amount of fuel. Excessive fuel returns to the transfer pump outlet and applies pressure to the underside of the piston, opening the inlet pump inlet, allowing the fuel to short circuit.
