Hello everyone,

After a long investigation, I completed the mirror led and step lighting process for Peugeot 407. I hope I enjoy working on what I do and hope it helps those who are thinking about doing it.

I also share the Pictures and Video.

The construction steps are as follows.

1- After determining the places where the LEDs of the rearview mirror will be installed, drilling is done with a drill.

2- Then the inside of the door will be removed and the cable that will go to the LEDs will pass through the rearview mirror, which is a very troublesome place.

3- Then, the cable is removed from the cable door throat coming out of the mirror and the open place under the door throat (closed with a cover) from the cable fuse box.

4- And finally, the cables are pulled from the ceiling lighting to the fuse box and their connections are completed. At the same time, the system is completed by connecting these cables in step leds.

When the vehicle is locked, it turns off automatically and since the lock is opened, the mirror under the led and step lighting are activated automatically with the interior roof lamp.

It was a nice work, congratulations. But there is something stuck in my head, is it the same shape at the same time as the car's interior lamp, so if we turn on the interior lamp while driving, the led of the mirror is on? I would appreciate if you explain those connection parts in more detail. Thanks

Yes, it lights up in the same way as the ceiling lamp. If you turn on the button, the foot lighting in the course of the cruise, the led in the mirror also lights up.

2 different currents are coming to the ceiling lamp.

If you connect it to the lamp, whenever the lamp is on, your lighting will come on.
If you connect the flow from the door, it will only light up when your doors are opened or the lock is opened
If you connect to the contact current, it will start burning as soon as the contact is opened.
