First of all, I just joined the forum so Hello :)
I am currently using 407, before that I was using 508, but now it seems like I will use 407 most of the time,
My problem is that I chose this because it is 508 156 gasoline, I did not want to pay extra cost for the job, but because 407 is 110 horsepower, it seems cumbersome to me :)
In my researches, tuning or box applications seem to be the most logical way to cover this difference.
I want to get information about this.
Are there any situations that I can do differently or should these be done?
Would it harm the vehicle that worries me the most and I cannot find a proper answer in my research?
I hope you will excuse me because there were people who opened this issue before me because I could not reach a sufficient result when I look at it :)
Thanks to everyone in advance :)

Teacher concepts are very confused now. There was a chip in the past, there were tuning, they were separate. Things have changed in new neil vehicles.

First of all, let's make a decision that every process you make to the vehicle afterwards can cause serious problems if it is not used properly. Why am I saying this; factories are optimizing their vehicles with both R&D and user reviews. They offer a 2-year mechanical warranty. If you apply a change to this mechanic and do not use it correctly, it will leave the vehicle in a difficult situation that will break out at some point.

The engine modification has a software part. The engine, which we call ECu, controls the procedure of the vehicle from fuel to burning and disposal. Applies the appropriate values to the parts, adjusts the fuel, adjusts the air and regulates the operation of the vehicle with the data it receives from the sensors.

Previously, intervention to the pharmacy was very difficult. Some values of your vehicle, equivalent to the existing processor chips, were replaced with those that have been changed. In this way, it was played with the parametric settings of the engine and there was a bit of an increase in performance.

With common rail and developing BSi-OBD technology, this process started with direct data transfer. Higher performances began to be received.

The tuning apparatus you call Box is a piece that is attached to the common rail sensor and used to mislead the fuel assembly. This improves the performance of the vehicle's fuel system, preferably in turbo-assisted engines. Your lower cycles are getting stronger.

In addition, the software event we call tuning is different. here, the values used by the engine and the parts around it are changed in certain dimensions, and in this case you get high performance.

What are the cons? The minus is up to you. These operations will increase the normal wear index of the vehicle at a very small rate in proper use. But if your use is tough and will leave the engine in a difficult situation, it will decrease to around 180000, maybe 170000 after the software, when you wrap the stock engine. I say these numbers without basing them on any scale.

If you press the gas too much, your fuel will be more than normal. There is no escape from this. The software event is performance oriented rather than economics.

If you are going to make software, I will have Mehmet Gazihan investigate if I will have it done.

If you have the opportunity before the software;

Catalyst cancellation (there will be a shortage of inspection)
- A wider straight pipe from the manifold to the final muffler
-Performance muffler
Enlarging the intercooler if possible
I recommend you do. these add an unnoticeable power to the vehicle, but the efficiency you get will be better when you have them chiped.

Those 106 people say they have liver, exactly that account

Sorry for the spelling errors I wrote a little fast
