Hello everyone,

About 2 months ago, I bought a 2011 model Peugeot 308 1.6 Vti. The car is at 160,000 km. Vehicle LPG & Gasoline was mixed before. While buying the vehicle, I learned from the appraiser that there was a P0014 error code, and I still got it. At first, I didn't care because I thought it was due to LPG, but about a week after I bought it, when the car started to shake slightly, especially in 2nd and 3rd gear, I took it to the authorized service. They said that there was a problem with the solenoid valve of the vehicle, and we replaced the electrovalve and updated its software. I did not use the vehicle on LPG after that day. One week after taking the vehicle from the service, I got the exhaust emission warning again and it felt like the vehicle started to lose power. When I took it to the service the next day, he said there was a different error. He said that the fault was caused by the 3rd cylinder region, that there might be a problem with the spark plugs, but 2 months before buying the car, the owner had changed the spark plugs at the same authorized service. When he examined it again, he said it could be caused by the coils and offered to replace the coil in the 3rd cylinder region. But then we changed the location of the coils in the 3rd and 2nd cylinder regions for testing purposes and waited for the error code to come again. In the meantime, we put additives on the vehicle to clean the inside of the engine. The fan of the vehicle was working immediately, it had taken care of itself. I stopped the car, waited for a while, when I started it again, it worked irregularly again and when I moved a little, there was a lot of vibration in the engine and I stopped it immediately and waited for a while. Then I started it and there seemed to be no misfire, after driving for a while, the error lamp went off by itself and the vehicle continued to operate normally. Again, about a week later, the malfunction lamp came on again and the vehicle had the same symptoms. I drove a little and stopped the car. I started it again, I moved a little, and when I felt the abnormal vibration in the engine, I immediately stopped it and immediately started it again, it continued to work normally, but the fault lamp was still on. malfunctioned in the area. So the problem was not in the coil and the master said that we had to get into the engine with regret. By the way, we checked on the computer, the ignition values were the same in all cylinders.

The error code for this issue is P1339. Frankly, I don't think it should be entered into the engine, I've seen people encountering many errors like this and did some research. I found an almost spot-on article in a foreign source, and I am sharing the link of it below.

If you have experienced a similar problem or have a solution suggestion, I would appreciate it if you could share it.

Thanks a lot.

Well, I have 1336 and 1340. In fact, due to p0366, we changed the camshaft of the vehicle as a result of long efforts and research and saved it from that failure. However, after the shaft was changed, intermittent faults such as 1336 1340 0171 0420 came. I'm leaving the car tonight. Will look into it tomorrow. I hope it is solved, I will write you the result. I suspect the injector coil or spark plugs. Because when there was the same misfire before, the master said that there was a lack of contact in the coil no. 4, I took care of it, I saved it from buying the coil. The master who changed the spindle was unaware of that situation. Let's see tomorrow.
Edit. I left the vehicle. By the way, my spark plugs were broken. It's not an iridium spark plug. First thing tomorrow, he will change them and test them while the car is cold. The spark plug not working properly and not being original or at least iridium triggers a certain error. MUŞ :)

Sir, I guess this is a different problem with P1339 1.6 VTi engines. I saw in foreign forums that many people especially encountered this error and applied different solutions. There may be something chronic about the 3rd cylinder region, I'm not sure. In general, I read that the problem is solved when they clean the inside of the engine, let's see I will try to clean the engine with additives without opening it. When the authorized service could not come up with any idea, he said that we will open the engine completely, he said that the engine was finished, but I do not think so. I think that a car with a dead engine will not cause a problem ONLY AT ROLLING, if it breaks down only once in a while.

Your problems seem a little different to me. I hope your problem will be solved with the cheapest cost. I'm waiting for the developments.

The tube was removed from my vehicle. They messed up when dismantling. He is slowly recovering. As I said, we are solving the faults one by one, there is p0366 and it went away when the camshaft was changed. When the spark plugs were fitted with the original iridium, the misfire decreased. Coil wires were overhauled, someone's socket was changed so p1340 is gone, only 1336 is left. For this reason, the coils will be changed and tested. If this is not the case, our master says, it goes to the valves.
