Peugeot 307 Horn Oxidation Removal.
First, we removed the Ignition key. We remove the battery terminals.
By pushing the airbag lock forward with an appropriate sized flat screwdriver, we ensure that the airbag comes out. At this point, we have to be very careful, we will need some strength from the outside, we have to support the release of airbag with your other hand. Lock springs must not be damaged. We must adjust our strength well, neither too much nor too little.
The red arrow shows the spring pushed by the screwdriver, the blue arrow locks holding the airbag, the Blue arrow shows the horn chassis.
We carefully remove the chassis socket.
Let's clean the chassis connection and the contact points of the horn with fine nail file or 0 number sandpaper.
Let's stretch the chassis socket a little and grease it with contact grease. Contact Cleaner can help us with the spray. |
