Peugeot 307 Excessive Sound Problem - 307

Hello friends,

I need the opinion of experienced 307 owners. My goal is not to deal with extra insulation, but the vehicle gets an incredible engine sound inside. Although my car is gasoline, it is very uncomfortable for such high engine noise to come in.

Now, my question is, if the car was made in 2004, all of the seals were worn, the worn-out pinch, and the hood seals from scratch would this high engine and rpm sound coming into the vehicle be cut off or at least to some extent?

If it does not work, I would like to ask if there are other solutions. I don't want to make an extra charge for this problem.

In my car, the automatic 2003 model has the same sound problem. I aim to solve the sound problem with the insulation material. The sound comes from the front console. Now my materials are on cargo. After applying the materials, I can share the result with you. Smile

Could the manifold leak?
