Peugeot 307 Automatic gear 1.6 2003 model

My question is that 307 Automatic gear 2003 When I switch to R position when 1.6 gear is in D position, it sounds like a plug. When I turn on the air conditioner, it blows hot instead of cold.

The air conditioner is out of gas, I have to press the gas
