Hello everyone, about 2 days ago, I bought a 1.4 hdi xr vehicle with a 2004 model 150,000 kilometers of one piece (left fender, no change) painted. When I took the car to the Peugeot special service, he connected the computer to the car's brain, looked at his engine and said the following.
1- There is very little oil leakage in the engine of the vehicle. (Someone from whom I bought the vehicle trusted and knew that the engine did not reduce oil)
2-He said that when the vehicle lifted the oil dipstick and looked at it, it blows very little steam.
3-He said that the printing pad is at a sufficient level.
4- He said that the engine was alive and not worn.
He said there was no blowing in the 5-Turbo but there was also a slight oil leak in the turbo and the oil leaks were not significant.

Guys, is this a problem that will be enlarged? The result is that I bought the car for 16,000 TL, I don't mind much, but I don't want it to leave me on the road. He also asked for 600 TL for the repair of oil leaks. Thank you in advance for your answers. Stay safe.

Where and how much oil leaks are important. I do not think it will be a problem if it is not from the crank or eccentric seal (high probability of lubricating the back) and does not require you to add additional oil until the oil change, except for visual and psychology.

first of all, your car is auspicious ... you bought it at a really great price ... when it comes to your problem, my previous car was ford fiesta 1,4 tdci. Since peugeot and ford use the same engines, let me answer accordingly .. my fiesta also had such lubrications. When I showed it to the master, he said that these are normal, even these are evaporation, and will not cause any problems. so in summary, this is normal for 1.4 diesels. There was absolutely no oil reduction ... when it comes to turbo, it should be between 1500-2000.
