Hello, first of all. Last week, I bought a 2006 Peugeot 307 with a 1.4 Comfort gasoline engine. I'm happy with everything about the car; thankfully, there aren't any problems, but I'm just starting to test the fuel consumption. I filled the tank to the brim, drove 100 km, and filled it up again. It consumed 14 liters of fuel. Yes, I only drove around town, but it still felt like a lot. The on-board computer showed roughly this figure. Moreover, I used it revved and didn't compress it. Now I'm trying again to see how much fuel it will consume. I'd like to ask you experienced users, I need your help. I'm wondering why my car is consuming so much fuel, what should I check and look for? I'm open to all sincere guidance, especially if anyone has experienced and resolved the issue. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
