Hello, I own a 2002 Peugeot 206. I have a chronic problem with my car for about 5 years. No matter what repair shop I took it to, the problem could not be solved. When the car gets into water or after driving for a certain period in rainy weather, the speed does not exceed 1000 rpm. The car is constantly at 100 rpm and does not consume gas. Most people say it is an electrical problem, but they charge exorbitant prices. Have you had this kind of problem? If so, how did you find a solution?

My masters, while the car is driving at 120-130 rpm, the engine fault light suddenly turns on at 3000 rpm and it does not pump fuel. It feels like it is crashing head-on. Has anyone encountered this problem or what is the solution, my masters?

I bought the car three months ago. It's a 206 1.4 XR automatic from 2002. I have a similar problem. It constantly leaves me stranded on the road. I had to tow it twice. First, the engine light would flash and then stall. Then the engine wouldn't start again. When it cooled down, it would restart, and I drove like that for days. Two days ago, the same thing happened again. This time, I'd put the gear lever in neutral and step on the gas to keep it from stalling, then put it back in gear and drive a little further to avoid being stranded because I was very close to my destination. Until, when I slowed down to enter the parking lot, it stalled, and when the engine cooled down, it wouldn't start again. I think I forced it. More accurately, it would start, but the engine light would flash and then stall after 10-15 seconds. One mechanic said it was a fuel relay, another said it was an electrical fault. It had just come from a repair shop. I paid 7000₺ to the repair shop. Now we're looking for an original fuel relay from the industry. We tried the aftermarket, but it wasn't suitable. If you have one, I'm interested in the one you've got :) If that doesn't work, they suggested a new brain. Who knows how much that costs. In short, I understand that Peugeot is a regret.
