Hello friends,

The battery of my 2011 model 206+ diesel is over. I run it with a jump cable and charge it for a while, but then I came across the same situation. When I told the service, they told me that these vehicles had dry batteries, they would not charge, and I had to buy new batteries. Peugeot service gave 202 lira for the new battery. They were getting workmanship for 30 TL. Are these prices higher than other brand batteries?

When I install Peugeot's own battery, I guess that I will face the problem of not charging again in the future. I think it would be wiser to be a rechargeable battery instead. Will it be suitable for the vehicle?

What would you recommend?

Additional question: Can anyone recommend a reliable auto electrician around Istanbul Halkalı?

Get well,

I experienced the situation you mentioned. My car has a sound system. The battery was exhausted and we started it with reinforcement and I still use it without any problems. It will be almost 1 year since we make reinforcements.

I think that a thorough investigation can be not only a battery, but also a charger or a leak on the vehicle.

I think the battery doesn't matter if I think our batteries are 62Ah.

An electrician I knew said there was no such thing as a dry battery, there would be water in all of them, but some would not be supplemented with water. I do not know how accurate.
You should have the battery measured by an electrician to find out if your problem is with the battery.
They do not want to pay for battery replacement. Instead, they buy your old battery. >
